GHAZVIN- Forensic Medicine Organization chief Ahmad Shojaii says Iranians’ genetic identity banks will be launched in 10 provinces.

Preliminary actions have already been taken to establish the Iranians’ genetic identity banks, Shojaii told the Mehr News Agency.
He said with the introduction of the fifth development plan there is no legal problem for establishing genetic identity banks.
Currently, only two genetic identity banks are working in the country, Shojaii said, adding six more genetic identity banks will start working by the year-end.
Shojaii also said the required information has been given to the bank, and in the coming next 2-3 years, the identities of the two criminal groups will be registered in the data base that will decrease crime rate
