TEHRAN – Six inmates have escaped from a prison in Isfahan through a 30-meter underground tunnel. The prisoners dug the tunnel with some sharp tools like spoons over nights. However, another prisoner who was trying to escape was arrested as he was not thin enough to be able to pass through the tunnel. One of the escapees was convicted of murder and the rest was imprisoned on charges of armed robberies
