Zarif says Iran is ready to broker intra-Yemeni dialogue

TEHRAN – The Iranian Foreign Minister announced on Wednesday that Tehran is ready to send humanitarian aid to Yemen and help broker dialogue among the conflicting sides in Yemen with the aim of forming an inclusive government.
Mohammad Javad Zarif made the remarks in a Twitter message after Saudi Arabia declared an end to air strike against Yemen on midnight Tuesday.

He evaluated halt to attacks on Yemen as a “positive development”.

Now it is the time to send humanitarian aid to Yemen and the time for the Yemeni factions to hold talks to form an inclusive government, Zarif suggested.

He added that Iran is ready to help start this procedure.
