“Rending a Garment” competes in Shanghai filmfest

TEHRAN – Iranian filmmaker Hamidreza Qotbi’s social drama “Rending a Garment” will go on screen at the 18th Shanghai International Film Festival, which will be held in the eastern Chinese city from June 13 to 21.
The movie premiered earlier in February at the 33rd Fajr Film Festival, tells the story of Shirin, a woman who finds out some secrets about her recently deceased father.
