TEHRAN -- Iranian producer Javad Noruzbeigi and director Qorban Mohammadpur are engaged in talks with Bollywood producer Pahlaj Nihalani seeking his collaboration in their new movie project entitled “Hi Mumbai”.

“Nihalani is scheduled to make a trip to Iran soon to sign a contract for the distribution of the film in India,” Mohammadpur told the Persian service of ISNA on Friday.

Nihalani is the producer of the films “Aankhen”, “Talaash: The Hunt Begins” and “Shola Aur Shabnam”. He is chairperson of the Central Board of Film Certification of India and the former president of the Association of Motion Pictures and TV Programs Producers of the country.

Shooting of the film will begin on location in Mumbai in November and a cast of Iranian and Bollywood stars will play roles in the movie.

Mohammadpur previously announced their plan to hire Aishwarya Rai for the project.

Indian musicians Dilshad Shaikh and A. R. Rahman are scheduled to compose music for “Hi Mumbai” and a famous Indian singer will perform four songs for the movie, he said.
