TEHRAN - The deputy commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps in political affairs has said trusting the West will have no result other than disgrace and humiliation.

“If we back down against the West, they will come forward a few steps more,” Sanaei Rad said, the Khabarpu news website reported Sunday.

“Americans resigned to sitting at the negotiation table because they witnessed realities such as our country’s achievement of 20 percent enrichment, patience by people, the wisdom of the Leader, and our missile power.”

“Americans are following the line to infiltrate our country, therefore we must be careful,” he added.
