TEHRAN - Head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) has said the nuclear deal with great powers, also called the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action or JCPOA, will not slow down the country’s nuclear program.

“The Iranian nation should rest assured that, technically speaking, the country’s nuclear industry will not face any slowdown or stoppage (as a result of JCPOA implementation,” Ali Akbar Salehi said Saturday, according to ICANA.

Of course, certain limitations have been accepted, the official noted, but many of the limitations will have no real effect because Iran did not mean in the first place to do what they prohibited.
