TEHRAN - Interior Minister Abdolreza Rahmani Fazli said on Tuesday that no person or group has the right to interfere in the upcoming parliamentary and Assembly of Experts elections beyond the framework of the law.

Parliamentary and Assembly of Experts elections will be held on February 26, 2016.
All the responsible bodies are duty bound to encourage people to participate in the elections and also fulfill their duties in holding the elections, Rahmani Fazli said.

He also said that Iran plays an important role in settling crises in the Middle East region which is a product of the Iranian people’s participation in elections.

Commenting on the nuclear agreement, Fazli said the deal was made possible through the guidelines set by the Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, management of President Hassan Rouhani, efforts of the Iranian nuclear negotiators, and national capabilities.

Iran and the 5+1 group - the United States, Britain, France, China and Russia plus Germany - finalized the text of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) in Vienna on July 14.
