TEHRAN - On Monday evening President Hassan Rouhani and several members of his cabinet met Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei discussing the major policies of resistance economy, the vice president for parliamentary affairs said on Tuesday.

According to Majid Ansari, who was briefing reporters about the meeting, following Ayatollah Khamenei’s orders, the name of the Strategic Headquarters on Resistance Economy was changed to “Resistance Economy Command Center”.

It was also agreed that from now on, the government should only make policies about, support, and supervise the economy, and leave the executive affairs of economy to the private sector, the official added.
