Graphic designers to hold poster workshop on Muslim unity

TEHRAN – Graphic designers from across the country will come together at Jamkaran Mosque near Qom from December 15 to 18 to participate in a large workshop for creating posters on unity among Muslims.
“About one hundred designers have been invited to the workshop that has been entitled ‘Hablillah’,” the secretary of workshop, Mohammad-Javad Qasempur, said in a press release on Saturday.The workshop has been organized to celebrate the birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad (S), which falls on December 29 this year.
“A team of jury members will select a number of posters, which will be created during the workshop, to showcase at exhibitions that will be held around the country on the birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad (S),” he added.
He also said that the top posters will be available on different websites for organizations and foundations interested in posters on unity.
“The interested applicants can either submit their artworks to the workshop on the internet or they can register and attend the workshop in person,” he added.
He also mentioned that professional designers will attend the workshop in Qom, while non-professionals will be attending regional workshops arranged in several regions such as Kordestan, Sistan and Baluchistan, as well as several other cities in the northern region of the country.
The workshop has been sponsored by the Poster Movement in collaboration with Tehran Municipality’s Beautification Organization.
