TEHRAN – The Majlis National Security and Foreign Policy Committee chairman has said that Washington will regret if it does not fulfill its commitments under the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action, commonly called the nuclear deal.
“If the U.S. does not meet its commitments towards Iran, we will take actions that the U.S. will regret its behavior,” Alaeddin Boroujerdi told, Tasnim reported on Sunday.
Boroujerdi added that the U.S. has no choice but honoring its obligations under the JCPOA.
In July 2015, Iran and the 5+1 group (the United States, Britain, France, China and Russia plus Germany) finalized the text of the JCPOA in Vienna which went into effect in January 2016.
