TEHRAN – Assembly of Experts Chairman Ayatollah Mohammad Reza Mahdavi Kani has said that provoking discord and disputes among officials and exploiting the resulting political turmoil is the strategy of the enemy for the March parliamentary elections. 

Mahdavi Kani also advised principlists to avoid disagreements, maintain unity, and try to form an alliance for the elections. 

He added that if principlists achieve unity, enemy’s attempts will be futile.
