TEHRAN – An informed source at the Iranian Foreign Ministry on Sunday rejected news that Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi plans to travel to Bahrain in the near future.

He said, “Currently, there is no plan for Salehi’s trip to Bahrain.”

Salehi came under criticism at home after he held a meeting with Bahraini Foreign Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa in New York on September 26.
