TEHRAN – Ali Akbar Velayati, the Supreme Leader’s top advisor, said on Saturday that principlists are concerned that their efforts to achieve unity for the March parliamentary elections may be hampered by certain principlist groups’ non-cooperation with the unity committee. 

The Islamic Revolution Resistance Front, as a principlist heavyweight, has so far turned down invitations to attend the unity committee’s meetings in protest at the make-up of the committee.
