ISFAHAN – Sepahan opened the 2012 Asian Champions League (ACL) group stage with a win over Al Nasr of the United Arab Emirates. 

 

On Wednesday, the Iranian representative defeated the visitors in Group C in Isfahan’s Naghsh-e Jahan Stadium. 

 

With five minutes remaining, Bruno Cesar Correa chipped the ball over Al Nasr keeper.

 

ACL 2007 finalist Sepahan will face Al Ahli of Saudi Arabia on March 21. 

 

The top two teams in each of the eight groups advance to a knockout round of 16 on May 29 and 30.
