Iran’s Agricultural jihad minister Sadeq Khalilian, who arrives in Turkey early Wednesday, said that Iran and Turkey bilateral trade has reached to 16 billion dollars last year, IRNA reported.
 

Heading a top-ranking delegation, Khalilian flew Turkey in order to exchange views and confer concerning agricultural cooperation.

 

During his one-day visit, he met with the Turkish Minister of Planning, Judit Yilmaz, his Turkish counterpart Mehdi Eker, and also the Turkish Minister of Forestry and Water Works Veysel Eroglu.
 

In the meeting with Veysel Eroglu, the two sides discussed implementation of a memorandum of understanding inked in Tehran in September 2010 in terms of cooperation in natural resources and irrigation management. 

The 4th working group session of agricultural cooperation between Iran and Turkey will be held in Ankara, too.
