TEHRAN -- Iranian animator Mohammadreza Kheradmandan has made a short movie entitled “Entr’acte”, which explores Israeli sniper David D. Ovadia who boasted of murdering 13 Gazan children in one day.

He spent a year making the 3D animated film, which was produced by Mohammadreza Shafah at Sureh Film that is affiliated to the Islamic Ideology Dissemination Organization.

In an interview with the Persian service of MNA on Monday, Kheradmandan predicted that his film may be snubbed at international events due to its subject matter.

However, he said that “Entr’acte” is on display at the Cannes Film Market, which will open today.

“The target audience of the film is people in the international arena who face censorship of news,” he added.

In an Instagram post published on July 2014, Ovadia, posing with a Barrett 50 caliber sniper rifle, boasted of murdering 13 Gazan children in one day.
