Kayhan Kalhor to perform with Hartford Symphony Orchestra

TEHRAN – The renowned Iranian Kamancheh virtuoso Kayhan Kalhor is scheduled to perform with the Hartford Symphony Orchestra during concerts, which will be held at the Bushnell Center for the Performing Arts in Hartford, Connecticut, from June 9 to 12. 

The orchestra under the baton of Taiwanese maestro Carolyn Kuan will perform “An American in Paris” composed by George Gershwin, “Rose of the Winds” by Osvaldo Golijov and “The Symphonic Dances, Op. 45” by Sergei Rachmaninoff. 

The orchestra presents over 200 concerts each year.
