TEHRAN – Actress-cum-director Aida Keikhai is directing “Dance of Torn Papers” by playwright Mohammad Yaqubi, who is also her spouse, at the Iranian Association at the University of Toronto (IAUT) in Canada.

Different casts of 12 actors have staged three different performances of the play over the past two nights. 

Another cast, which includes Sara Imanzadeh, Sanaz Haqverdi, Sara Salahi, Amir Puyan, Yaser Qoreishi and Azadeh Chavoshi, will stage the play tonight.

The play is about an author who writes plays and presents them to his wife but she tears up the papers.

The IAUT is an independent cultural, academic and social organization that seeks to promote activities relating to Iran and the Iranian community at the University of Toronto and beyond.
