TEHRAN – A border commander of the Iraqi Kurdistan has said Iran has done nothing in the border points with the Kurdistan region which may contrast international law.

Speaking to IRNA on Wednesday, Major General Fakhreddine Abdullah said Iran is committed to preserving security at borders and respecting the territorial integrity of Iraq.

“Iran has not violated security of the Iraqi territories at borders with the Kurdistan region and has no military base in the region,” he stressed.
