TEHRAN – Iranian director Abbas Rafei’s acclaimed movie “Oblivion Season” will be the opening movie of the Salento International Film Festival, which will be held in Tricase, Italy from September 2 to 10.

Rafei is scheduled to attend the screening, which will be followed by a review session.

“Oblivion Season” tells the story of Fariba, an ex-prostitute who starts a new life by marrying her lover, but leaving the shadow of her dark past turns out not to be as easy as it had seemed beforehand.
