Two Iranian MPs to head New York for women’s summit

TEHRAN – Two female members of the Iranian parliament (Majlis) are going to travel to New York to attend a conference on women, Nasim reported on Monday.

The news was announced by MP Zahra Saidi Mobarakeh, who said the decision was made during a session of the Women’s Committee of the Majlis on Sunday.

Accordingly, the members of the committee selected MPs Zahra Saei and Somayeh Mahmoudi to attend the meeting of the Commission on the Status of Women.
