TEHRAN – The head of the Iranian army’s ideological-political organization has said the United States sees the post-JCPOA situation as a chance to infiltrate Iran.

“This has been America’s plan to approach and infiltrate the pillars of the system in the post-BARJAM (the Persian acronym for the JCPOA),” said Mohammad Ali Ale Hashem, ISNA reported.

However, he said, it is in the best interest of the U.S. if Iran remains a regional power, considering the huge amount of insecurity that prevails the region.
