TEHRAN – The Permanent Secretariat for Art Dialogue between Iran and the Arab World was established at the University of Kashan on Saturday.

The secretariat was launched on the margins of the International Conference on the Role of Art and Architecture in Scientific Communication between Iran and the Arab World, the university announced in a press release on Sunday.

The two-day conference, which opened on Saturday, hosted a number of scholars from Iran and Arab nations.

The rich background of architecture and art in Iran and the Arab world, and their role in scientific and cultural communication in the Muslim world were the major topics discussed at the conference.
