Banking arrears of govt. up 22.4% in a month on year

TEHRAN- Debts of the Iranian government and state-run companies to the banking system hit 2.83 quadrillion rials (about $67.3 billion) in the fourth month of the present Iranian calendar year, Tir (June 22, July 22, 2018), according to the latest report of the Central Bank of Iran (CBI).

The figure shows 22.4 percent increase compared to the same month in the preceding Iranian year.

From the said amount, 320 trillion rials (about $7.6 billion) goes to the debt of state-run companies to the banking sector.
