Intl. tour operators visit Yazd on fam tour

TEHRAN – The UNESCO-registered city of Yazd hosted travel marketers from 13 countries in a one-day familiarization tour on Sunday.
Marcopolo Tourism Holding Co. organized the excursion for managers of travel companies from France, Spain, Australia, Russia, the Netherlands, Belgium, Austria, Brazil, Costa Rica, Mexico, Algeria, Argentina and Portugal, CHTN reported.
On the evening of the same day, the explorers made their way to the southeastern city of Kerman to fulfill another leg of the tour. Haj-Agha Ali House, a vast historical house located near the city of Rafsanjan, was among destinations they arrived at along the way.
A cradle for Zoroastrianism, Yazd boasts a landscape architecture that features abundant badgirs (wind catchers), mud-brick houses, atmospheric alleyways, subterranean qanats, and domed icehouses to name a few.
The central Iranian city is widely referred to as a “don’t miss” destination by almost all of its visitors. It is famous for having hospitable people as well.
