General warns of rise in disguised threats

TEHRAN – Gholam Reza Jalali, chief of the Civil Defense Organization, on Sunday warned of the rise in camouflaged threats originating from modern technologies.

The complicated relation between technology and threats has confused many decision-makers, Jalali said, adding that such complexity has given birth to camouflaged threats, Tasnim reported.

“The modern technologies cause a combination of threats and opportunities, therefore, distinguishing threats and opportunities is itself a scientific job,” he remarked.

“We must reduce or control the impacts of threats on our assets with technology and science,” Jalali added.
