TEHRAN – Andrea Pallaoro, the Italian director of the acclaimed movie “Medeas”, is scheduled to hold a workshop during the 37th Fajr International Film Festival, the organizers announced on Tuesday.

Pallaoro’s debut film “Medeas” brought him the best director award at the Marrakech Film Festival in 2013. The film also won the New Voices/New Visions Award at the 2013 Palm Springs International Film Festival.

His 2017 movie “Hannah” brought the English actress Charlotte Rampling the Volpi Cup for best actress at the 74th Venice International Film Festival.

The Fajr organizers earlier announced that Italian cinematographer Luca Bigazzi and German production designer Silke Buhr are also scheduled to hold workshops at the festival, which will be held in Tehran from April 18 to 26.
