OPEC Basket Price Down by 35 Cents

VIENNA The price of OPEC's basket of seven crudes decreased by 35 cents and was $25.17 a barrel Monday.
This was down from $25.52 Friday according to OPEC calculations here, Tuesday.
The OPEC basket comprises Algeria's Saharan blend, Indonesia's Minas, Nigeria's bonny light, Saudi Arabia's Arabian light, Dubai of the United Arab Emirates, Venezuela's Tia Juana and Mexico's Isthmus crude.
Crude oil Futures prices ended the day lower in trading on the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) Friday. According to sources here, West Texas Intermediate (WTI), the American benchmark crude, decreased by 75 cents to settle at $27.43 per barrel for September delivery, while the October contract stood at $27.31, also down by 60 cents.
In London Monday, North Sea Brent crude oil Futures prices ended lower on the International Petroleum Exchange (IPE).
IPE September Brent settled at $26.96 a barrel, down by 40 cents from the previous close.
The day's high was $27.45 and the low $26.84.
