Yugoslav Deputy FM Says Tehran Visit Fruitful

BELGRADE Yugoslav Deputy Foreign Minister Zoran Novakovic here on Monday said his just-concluded five-day visit to the Islamic Republic of Iran was fruitful.
In an interview with IRNA, he stressed that there is no obstacle in the way of further expansion of all-out ties between the two countries.
Referring to economic potentials of both countries, he said that Tehran-Belgrade ties may be expanded in different areas of oil and petrochemicals.
He further called for urgent measures to be taken to remove the obstacles in the way of carrying out joint projects.
On cooperation between the two countries' news agencies, the Yugoslav official said that undoubtedly cooperation between the IRNA and Tanjug will continue in the future.
He said that during his visit to Tehran he inspected different sections of IRNA and that he was briefed on the agency's positive activities by some IRNA officials.
Calling for more exchange of views between the two countries' senior officials, Novakovic stressed that expansion of Tehran-Belgrade relations will benefit both sides.
