The members of the IIPP, on their turn, criticized Rafsanjani on his comment over the current situation in the country when he said, "The present situation in Iran is the same what it was during the time of (the first president Abolhassan) Banisadr." "In response, Mr. Rafsanjani said that he will correct it..," the source said without going into detail.
Banisadr was the first president who was elected in 1980, but after a while he changed his path of revolution and joined hands with terrorists Mojahedin or the Monafeqin, as they are called by the revolutionary people of Iran.
Things with Banisadr went so far that Founder of the Islamic Republic Imam Khomeini was forced to throw him out of power as he was plotting against entire system.
