TEHRAN – Mohsen Kaveh resigned from his post as head coach of Iran freestyle wrestling team on Friday.

He was named as Iran head coach in December 2023 as Pejman Dorostkar’s replacement.

Iranian freestylers won three silver medals and one bronze in the 2024 Olympic Games under his leadership.

Rahman Amouzad in 65kg, Hassan Yazdani in 86kg and Amir Hossein Zare in 125kg claimed three silvers and Amirali Azarpira won a bronze medal in the 97kg.
