Migratory birds flocking to Tehran lake

Khalij-e Fars (Persian Gulf) lake in the west of Tehran is hosting birds that are migrating from Siberia and eastern Europe to spend the winter.

Around two million birds fly each year to spend winter in the country’s wetlands.
