SEOUL Nineteen people were killed and eight injured in a highway collision in South Korea late on Friday, local media reported. A truck crossed into the opposite lane on highway 88 linking the cities of Taegu and Kwangju about 240km (150 miles) southeast of the capital Seoul and collided head-on with a tourist bus and a sports utility vehicle, the Korean Broadcasting System (KBS) reported.
All three drivers were killed in the accident, which occurred at 6.50 p.m. (0950 GMT), local police told KBS.
