Six Afghan Smugglers Killed in Clashes With LEF

MASHHAD, Khorasan Province Khorasan Province Governor General's Office announced here Monday that six Afghan smugglers were killed in armed clashes with the provincial Law Enforcement Forces (LEF) in the Fariman region in the past 48 hours.
It also added that two persons taken hostage by the bandits were also set free by the LEF.
Following the directives by the provincial governor general for quelling all shootings in the province', LEF conducted several successful operation in the past few days, said the statement.
