THE HAGUE UN climate talks have failed to agree a comprehensive pact to stop global warming and have been suspended until May, a source in the 15-nation European Union said.
"It's suspended until a second meeting in May," the source at a UN climate conference in The Hague said. "It will be continued later." Delegates said talks had foundered on disagreements between the EU and the United States over ways to curb emissions of greenhouse gases believed to be causing climate change.
