PHILADELPHIA The Sacramento Kings used a fast start, smothering defense and a big game from Chris Webber to score a surprisingly lopsided 100-79 win over Allen Iverson and the league-leading Philadelphia 76ers on Friday.

The Kings came out firing and never trailed, opening a 34-14 lead early in the second quarter.

But they won with defense, holding the Sixers to 39 percent (31-of-79) shooting to keep a team under 80 points for the seventh time this season.

Webber collected 26 points, 11 rebounds and five assists and seemed to answer every 76ers comeback attempt with a basket.

"Today, it was good for me to come back in and try to get a win against my boy Allen," Webber said of Iverson, who leads the NBA in scoring.

Peja Stojakovic scored 19 points and Doug Christie added 14 for the Kings, who hit 53 percent of their shots.

Iverson scored 17 of his 28 points in the second half but endured a poor shooting night.
