Two Livestock Breeders Killed by Explosives

TEHRAN Two livestock breeders in the border town of Mehran, Ilam Province, were killed on Wednesday due to the explosion of mines remaining from the Iraqi imposed war.

Shahab Mohammad-Nejad, 32, and Mousa Alimohammad-Nejad, 20, were the livestock breeders from the Khazal tribe who were killed in Mehran.

During the Iraqi imposed war, about one million hectares of land were mined in Ilam Province, and less than 50 percent of the land has been demined so far.
