DHAKA Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina Wajed Tuesday called for a "Hatred Day" across Bangladesh in protest against a weekend bombing which killed nine people attending a packed Dhaka festival, AFP reported. Addressing a rally of thousands of veterans of Bangladesh's 1971 independence war against Pakistan, Sheikh Hasina also attacked an opposition-led strike campaign aimed at toppling her government. "We will stage marches and rallies across the country on the Hatred Day on April 22 to build resistance against these forces so that they can never succeed in their plan," she said.
