TEHRAN The British film ****Father and Daughter**** which won the Golden Bird at the recent Tehran International Animation Festival has won the Best Animation Film Oscar.

The film, which was made by Michael Dudok Dewlt, is about a girl whose father is lost at sea. She repeatedly visits the place where her father boarded the ship, but she fails to find her father.

The magnificent technique and content of the film led to another success for ****Father and Daughter****.

The 2nd International Animation Festival was held in Tehran in March. It was organized by the Center for Intellectual Development of Children and Young Adults (CIDCYA).
