TEHRAN Over 10,000 prisoners across Turkey will go on hunger strike from Saturday in protest against the prevailing deteriorating conditions in the jails of that country, it was announced by MED television yesterday.

This is not the first time, even last months several hundreds of prisoners including political prisoners went on hunger strike in Turkish jails that created a serious political problem for Ankara.
