BERLIN An unidentified 19-year-old Iranian was arrested by police in the north German city of Hamburg for his role in the shooting to death of two Turks, the German news agency DPA reported here Thursday.

The Iranian is accused of murdering two Turks, aged 24 and 25, and injuring a 22-year-old Afghan in the St. Georg district of Hamburg last Tuesday.

The Iranian has denied the charges as police is continuing its investigation into the case.
