MASHHAD, Khorasan Province In armed clashes in the northeastern Province of Khorasan, the police have killed seven bandits in the past few days, reported the provincial Police Department here Wednesday.

It added that the bandits had recently entered the country, adding that three of the them were killed in a shootout with the police in Neishabour area.

It said that four more bandits, who had used the cover of darkness to escape to the heights in Torbat-Heidarieh area, were gunned down last night.
