TEHRAN French and German ambassadors to Tehran on Saturday arrived in Mashhad for a three-day visit.

The objective of the visit to Khorasan Province of Francois Nicoullaud and Rudiger Reyels, French and German ambassadors to Tehran, is to become familiar with the various provincial potentials.

Deputy Head of Foreign Ministry's Bureau in Khorasan Province, Gholam-Abbas Arab-Khales, said that the ambassadors will meet the provincial governor general and the Mashhad mayor. They will also meet the chancellors of Ferdowsi and Mashhad physical sciences universities as well as the head of the provincial chamber of commerce, he added.

During their stay, the ambassadors will be briefed on the status of foreign refugees living in the province, he said.

The visit is also aimed at further expansion of economic, cultural and scientific cooperation between the Islamic Republic of Iran, Germany and France, the official noted.
