UN Welcomes Innovation of Iranian Architect

TEHRAN -- Welcoming the method of building homes for those who lose their houses in earthquakes, as a new innovation by an Iranian architect, the senior officials of the United Nations (UN) has said the agency, intends to implement the method practically.

The method in which bags of sands are used for constructing houses, have the capability of changing the existing method of building emergency houses for the people who lose their houses due to sudden earthquakes, floods and storms.

According to the report, the method is invented by Nader Khalili the Iranian architect who lives in California, United States of America.

Through utilizing this method, the victims of natural disasters can be provided with rapid shelters.

Also, in another development, for the first time in Iran, a young man from Shahroud, Mahmoud Keshavarzian, made a water cooler equipped with filter, and has the capability of filtering the weather as well.

The young inventor said on Sunday that the invented water cooler has no foreign made components and he has made the cooler within the period of one year and has registered it in the Organization of Registering Inventions.

According to Keshavarzian his invented water cooler consumes little water in comparison with the other similar products and it can continue working without water for three days.
