Iran Finishes Fourth in World Judo Contests

TEHRAN The national judo team of Iran stood fourth in the world contests which ended in Munich, Germany, on July 29.

Iran took one gold and one bronze medals in the World Judo Championships to rank fourth.

According to IRNA, in the 66kg category, Arash Mir-Esmaeili won the gold medal while his teammate Mahmoud Miran managed to bag the bronze medal of +100kg contests.

The national judo teams of Russia, Japan, and South Korea ranked first to third respectively.
