TEHRAN--According to a Northern Alliance official in Mashhad, the Taleban's foreign minister has held secret talks with British and American officials while visiting Pakistan.
He added that Pakistan is worried about the increasing power of the Northern Alliance and has brought up the issue with the representatives of Zahir Khan.
According to the Northern alliance official, Pakistan believes that if the Northern Alliance takes power in Afghanistan, that country's relations with Pakistan would deteriorate, but the representatives of Zahir Khan have indicated that they are willing to keep their ties with Pakistan.
