Megawati Invites Street Children to Her Birthday Party

JAKARTA -- Indonesian President Megawati Sukarnoputri celebrated her 55th birthday Wednesday with a party for hundreds of street children and orphans. Megawati clapped along to music from young street singers, who make a living busking at traffic lights, during the party at the headquarters of her Indonesian Democratic Party of struggle. The chilren urged her to be committed to wiping out corruption, collusion, and nepotism, AFP reported.
