Six Teams to Compete in Asian Handball Championships in Isfahan

SHAHR-E KORD, Chaharmahal-Bakhtiari Province Secretary of Iran's Handball Federation (IHF) announced Saturday that six teams will take part in the Asian event to be held in Isfahan.
In his talks with IRNA, Azizi Morad-Sadeqi added the teams of Iran, Bahrain, South Korea, Kuwait, Qatar and Saudi Arabia divided into two groups will compete during the 10-day tournament.
Referring to IHF's activities, the official said his federation has given financial aid to provincial handball boards, supervised their activities and held juniors' and youth competitions regularly and organized first-, second- and third-grade as well as national-level arbitration courses.
He added 18 courses for judges have been so far held at different levels since the beginning of the Iranian calendar year (starting March 21).
