TEHRAN -- Head of the union of software exporters Mohammad Reza Talaie said on Sunday that Parliament's ratification of a law to protect intellectual property prepared the ground for legal action against those charged in this respect.

Talaie said that the justice department has examined a lawsuit against violators of the rights of the software producers following a complaint to that effect.

He said that a by-law put into force by the justice department has envisaged 91 days to six months prison terms in addition to Rls.10 to 50 million fine against those found guilty of violating the rights of software producers.
